We are an online destination for soul-inspired media offering wisdom, spiritual transformation and personal development to our community.
Where is My Guru provides the tools and the support to empower our students to discover their own answers.
Where is My Guru was born over beer, surf and service.
The questions kept arising:
How do we remember that all of the answers we seek live within us? Why do we constantly look outside of ourselves for the truth?
The tongue in cheek response was to create exactly that, an inquiry. What began as a travel and yoga blog expanded into a live radio show/podcast and eventually emerged into an online school.
The evolution of Where is My Guru is a well worn pilgrimage into awakening of the self, understanding one’s value and worth in the world all while staying aligned with a deep calling to be of service in order to share wisdom in a practical, authentic and relatable way – making them accessible to all.
A Guru is Born
With a microphone at the ready and a handsome English boyfriend (now husband), Where is My Guru took to the road traveling around the country where Jess had the opportunity to interview todays leading yoga teachers, authors, fire-starters and change makers in yoga and spirituality. From conferences to festivals and even a few months traveling around in an airstream, the experience of being able to meet and connect with so many bright lights was unforgettable. The relationships that were cultivated led to the birth of WIMG 2.o – the online school as we know it today.
This guy. Aside from being my husband and father of our three year old, he has been my #1 supporter (in his own way, haha) since we met 10 years ago. Both of us natural collaborators, we were planning for world domination with the vision for our non-profit before our first kiss! Ten years, ten countries, two kids, two cats and countless memories later, our passion for life and for one another still burns bright. So much to say, but I will just leave it with this: PLH, always. (peace, love and happiness)
My kids and my brother. Thank you for teaching me what it means to be kind, to forgive, to love, to have patience, to work hard, to hustle, to relax, to surrender. I love you all to the moon and back.
