You can literally feel the electricity in the air right now. The connection with history unfolding right before our eyes is palpable. It’s radical. It’s revolutionary.
I’m not talking about the inauguration this weekend.
I’m talking about the march. THE MARCH. The march in Washington. The march in Charlotte. The march in Denver. The March in Columbia. The march in Portland. The march in Atlanta. The march in Charleston. The march in LA.
The march for freedom. The march for equality. The march for safety. The march for unity. The march for inclusion.
The march where we will stand up TOGETHER to make it known that we WILL BE HEARD.
This march has had me thinking. The various organizations I am involved with such as Kerri Kelly’s CTZN WELL where our discussions revolve around how to let others know you are a safe place, how it’s important to understand how our more vulnerable brothers and sisters are being affected right now and how it OUR JOB to stand up and support them.
I’ve gone back and forth around what to post, how to share, how to express my beliefs while being a business owner and “is that important?”
FUCK YES IT IS.
It’s important because this is the spiritual journey, this deliberate walk towards liberation.
It’s important to let anyone who is on this website know that this is a virtual sanctuary space. That all are welcome here. That dialogue and conversations are safe and protected. That hatred, ignorance or divisiveness will never, ever be tolerated here.
That is what we are marching for this weekend. We are marching to make it clear – CRYSTAL CLEAR – that we stand together. No one or nothing will break us.
To be honest, the conversation I am most interested in having right now is, “How do we learn how to stand up and speak out for ourselves and our sisters and brothers so we don’t live in the painful silence that occurs when we allow ourselves to be separate from the truth?”
Because I am not interested in living in fear any longer and I am certainly not interested in “waiting to see.” Where this conversations goes from here, I don’t know. But I am open and ready to stand up, to resist and to love.
I am praying for all who are marching this weekend around the country – that we are all held in safety, that collectively feel our voices rising together and to feel our power in numbers.
This is my promise: That Where is My Guru and anything we create or collaborate on will ALWAYS be a safe space for ALL to share and speak and be vulnerable and grow and learn. We are a virtual sanctuary for peace and love and progress.
